So good in every way. Service from Julie was friendly and very prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious and attractively presented

Great meal all round. From starters to pud. Very busy and definitely recommend booking . We’ll be booking in summer for A look at the canal and of course eating there

We sat outside by the canal which was lovely. The food was excellent as was the service. We have this pub as our regular lunchtime meet-up because of the above. This was our 2nd visit and can't fault it so far. Apart from the wasps, which is not the pub's fault!!!

Haven’t dined at the Black Horse for quite some time, pre-Pandemic for sure. Glad to see the excellent food and service is still as good as ever.

This was the first time eating at the Black Horse. Table service was excellent and very accommodating.The food was delicious - I had the salmon - and it was the right proportion, very tasty. I should've trusted the chef because I add salt before tasting so was slightly salty (my own fault) but didn't ruin my experience.
